At first glance the disarray of the shop will hit you because the place was literally packed with aquariums containing all different species of fish. Yes, I will agree with that person who gave the negative review that some tanks looked dirty but I could tell the fish were thriving for some inane reason I could not explain.

The old shopkeeper was slow and soft of speech so you had to lean a bit close to him when he started to talk. You have to be patient with him too because he's slow. Disarray and junk aside, we were able to find the aquarium size I wanted at a price that was almost half of what the other pet store sold it for! I also found a stand that was at a reasonable price. He even gave us a good discount on the light and light fixture. I would recommend going to Kyoto Aquarium for your aquarium supply needs. NOTE: Shop will only take cash and I don't think the old shopkeeper gives receipts so be sure of your purchase because I don't think you will be able to return them. You could ask him though because I didn't. I was happy with my purchases. He even tested the light and light fixture before he sold it to us.
