In addition, the store offers a great range of dry goods, foods and equipment from all the top brands. Our staff are all enthusiasts and will be only too pleased to show you all the latest gadgets and products on the market. With a wealth of experience, their fishkeeping advice is second to none. Whether you are new to the hobby or a seasoned aquarist, we'd love to see you. With all this as well as as some superb offers all year round, Maidenhead Aquatics at Endsleigh is a must for all fishkeepers!We are open from 9.00am – 6.00pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 10.00am – 4.00pm on Sundays. We offer a local home delivery service on Tuesday’s and Friday’s, if you spend over £20 with us your delivery will be absolutely free, if your total doesn’t quite add up to £20, we are still happy to deliver for a small fee.

I feel as though I have found my ideal job here at the ark as I get to work with the animals that I love, mainly all of the reptiles! I love passing on my knowledge to the customers and seeing them get the same pleasure of keeping these animals as I do! I have 2 African Pygmy Hedgehogs, a Lop Rabbit, an African Grey, Syrian Hamsters, Russian Hamsters, Tropical Fish, a selection of Crested Geckos and Leopard Geckos and a English Bull Terrier. I have a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care, a Level 2 Animal Nursing Assistant Certificate and I am currently in the process of doing the ornamental aquatic trade association qualification (OATA). I love working at the Ark as I love being hands on with the animals and talking to people about their animals and sharing information. The best part is knowing someone has chosen us to get the new animal(s) that will be joining their family. I currently share my house with 2 Guinea Pigs, 2 Budgies, A Leopard Gecko and a very Excitable Border collie.

I have an NVQ Level 1 in Small Animal Care, a Level 2 Diploma in Animal Care and a Level 3 - Diploma in Animal Management. Being a delivery driver and pet sales advisor gives me a great understanding of the pets and customers needs. Also caring for two Bearded Dragons, a Corn snake , a dwarf lop eared rabbit, three dogs and three fish tanks as my own hobby brings work and pleasure together, giving me great work satisfaction. I love working at The Ark Pet Center meeting customer's and helping with their pet's. Working at The Ark has given me confidence in myself and it's a very welcoming place to work because of the positive and friendly atmosphere. I enjoy meeting new people and seeing them leave happy after I've helped them. I also love caring for the animals here.
