We were rather disappointed in the sea life center. It gets too crowded during main part of the day, only downside is Penguins less active later in the day. I received an email confirming and which included a reservation number. I had to add a few people subsequently and called and booked additional tickets. I received a second email confirming.
In addition, our account had been debited for the entire amount owed. We show up with 11... We ended up paying full price for this as I had misread the 2for1 London T&Cs (make sure you have the right type of Rail tickets for this offer) Having said that me and my husband had a fantastic time. There is so much to see here. I could have sat and watched the turtles and sharks for hours. As an aquarist I can associate the difficulty in maintaining such an elaborate and varied collection of fishes and sea creatures. The exhibits are all well presented with good lighting. Our children also enjoyed it since there are some exhibits that allow children to touch and see sea life at close quarters. We used a two for one voucher which I'm pleased about because I don't think it would have been value for money at the full price. But in all seriousness, every possible measure has been taken to safely transport these Australian ocean floor dwellers and happily rehome them in an East London pop-up. How will you get the blobfish to London? Who says that they aren’t already here? Transporting any deep sea fish is a serious logistical challenge. We have worked with the very best marine biology experts to make this Herculean task becomes a reality. Why are you doing this?We want people to be able to look the blobfish in the eyes. Where is the blobfish café?
We had initially planned for the Blobfish Café to reside on an industrial estate in North Acton. However, due to planning complications we have been forced to find an alternative venue. We are excited to announce we have secured a new venue in East London. We will reveal the exact location as soon as we have a firm opening date. When are you opening? The grand opening has now been delayed until Summer 2017. Building a deep sea tank is no easy task and we are well aware that construction may overrun. As soon as we have a date set in stone we will be announcing it on this website and on Lorcan’s Twitter feed. How much does it cost to visit the Blobfish Café? Is there a ballot? We will be working with some of London’s most talented up-and-coming chefs to put on a range of light lunches and more substantial evening meals.
