Sea R US Tropical FishThis place is AWESOME!!! This place is AWESOME!!! It is the cleanest fish store in San Antonio. All of the fish are kept in excellent conditions and the variety is pretty cool too. The large tessalata eel and the port jackson shark were my favorite. There coral tank was first class with the coolest LED lighting I have ever seen. All the people who work there are extremely knowledgeable and really care about helping you have a good experience. They take time to tell you what it is you need to know about setting up your saltwater tank and walk you through the process, They even have come out to make sure my tank was correct when I've had problems and did not charge me for the help when I had the set the filtration up wrong. I finally found a 10-gallon fluorescent hood here at a fair price--after making three trips to other stores whose employees insisted they had fluorescent hoods but only had LED. I'm on a fixed income and these prices are the best in town!

I take my kids sometimes, and they always enjoy going. Never had a problem, and have became a regular. My kids aren't perfect but know better then to run around a store full of glass fish tanks. Do fish get intense lighting 10-12 hours per day ? (i.e.. think, sunrise-sunset, not mid-dayWould you like to swim in a sewer ? ( not doing regular partial water changes ) ? There is no such thing as a miracle, or no-water change - filtering system, unless that is your buying the cities sewage plant as your filter. Just toping up an aquarium when water evaporates only concentrates bad items

Try to understand the biological cycle instead of loosing your hard

We have undergravel filters in all but 2 of our saltwater tanks and all but 5 of our freshwater aquariums for over 41 years with noOur aquariums are not interconnected with each other . Disease cannot spread from one aquarium to another, as they do, if they are on a same filter/supply line. about all other stores have stopped carrying or recommending undergravel filters because they do not create repeat sales for filter pads and media. Most aquariums do better with undergravel filters. Just remember though, their is no bad filter system, all have advantages and disadvantages. Fintique sells all types of filters.
