As you can see in the video the light works great and plants love it!I use this light together with the following timer: Woods 50007 Indoor 24-Hour Digital Timer, Daily Settings, 2-PackThe only bad thing about this light that there is no way to turn on white then blue light automatically. You can do it manually but I always forgot. So now I just have the timer go on at 8 am and off at 6pm for white + blue lights together and nothing during the night.NOTE: this works for a 5 gallon tank. I don't think it will be good for a larger one.
