The restaurant is in a marina, with water views on three sides. The staff was attentive, and our waiter made sure we had what we needed. But the main attraction here is the food. The Prince Edward Island... Nice atmosphere, nice location, the food was better than average but a little disappointing, the reason for a 3.5 rating at best. We started with the calamari which needed something to brighten it. The horseradish aioli did not deliver, no bite as hoped. A goat cheese salad had one little medallion of panko encrusted cheese, skimpy otherwise. Love this restaurant for many reasons. The view is amazing from almost anywhere in the restaurant. It over looks the water. The food is consistently good-and the steak cannot be beat-even better than our local high end steak restaurant. We come here for date nights and birthdays. It is a treat for sure This is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Hampton Roads. The food quality and service are always spot on! I love their appetizer twist on fried oysters.

Five oysters server with a distinctive light sauce sitting on a dill pickle slice. So very southern yet with a local seafood twist. It's the perfect starter for the table to... We came here from the beach because it was dog friendly and it was great. Our server Andrea was really awesome even though the place was packed.

fish tank for sale guildfordWe were seated at a... This was an excellent dining experience. We had the restaurant week dinner menu. The tomato Basil soup and the Clam Gnocchi was excellent. The grouper and Penne Pasta seafood dish were very delicious. The meal was topped off with a great Lemon Meringue pie and an excellent choclate chip cookie with a very creamy ice cream. Will be on the... What a perfect water view location for this excellent restaurant.

You know it is special from the moment you walk in and watch the chef hard at work in the open kitchen as he creates meals from the fresh catch of the day. I had not visited here in several years and was pleased to find that the food and service were still excellent. This visit was during Restaurant Week so I had a 3-course meal for just $35. Tomato basil bisque, Grouper and Lemon Meringue Pie. All were very good (the pie was to die for). The service was excellent (thanks, Jonell)....Get the latest news from The Morning Call on the Amazon Echo Breaking NewsDA charges owner of day care after probe into baby's death Bass Pro Shops considers buying Cabela's Two major outdoor sports retailers with links to the Lehigh Valley are considering a merger, according to reports by Reuters and CNBC.Privately held Bass Pro Shops, which is being courted to open a new store near the Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem, is mulling a bid to purchase Cabela's, the struggling publicly traded outdoor sports superstore operator with a local store near Hamburg in Berks County.

While there are differences between the retailers, both operate destination-style mega-stores that offer a wide variety of clothing and other gear for hiking, fishing, hunting and other outdoor pastimes as well as attractions such as massive fish tanks, restaurants and shooting galleriesCould a merger make opening a Bethlehem store just 35 miles from Hamburg, less attractive? Bethlehem Community and Economic Development Director Alicia Karner doesn't think so.The Sands is unique in its ability to draw foot traffic, Karner said, bringing 8 million visitors to the city every year, and is focused on making its local facility even more of a destination in the future. "It's very early and there is very limited information," she said. "I would expect it would not have an impact on their consideration relating to the Sands location."Sands is hoping to lure Bass Pro Shops to the former Bethlehem Steel No. 2 Machine Shop, and in June launched a master planning process aimed at coming up with a unified vision for the 126 acres of former industrial land it controls on the city's South Side.

The recent inclusion of the property in Bethlehem's City Revitalization Improvement Zone has given the two-year effort to recruit the Springfield, Mo.-based Bass Pro Shops a boost. The tax incentive zone is not as powerful as Allentown's Neighborhood Improvement Zone, which has spawned $1 billion in new and proposed development, but it does offer considerable tax benefits for a project such as Bass Pro Shops.Bass Pro Shops' interest in a takeover, according to reports, followed a push by Cabela's investor Elliott Management for the company to explore its options, including a possible sale to a competitor or private equity firm. Elliott disclosed an 11 percent stake in Cabela's last month and said it would hold discussions with management.Shares of Cabela's, which is based in Sidney, Neb., rose as high as $44.85 on Thursday. The stock had been down 25 percent this year through Wednesday's close, hurt by sluggish sales. The company delivered disappointing earnings in October, saying it was suffering from "significant weakness" in its fall apparel and footwear offerings.
