Very interesting to see all the work going on in researching our oceans. the touch area for the children was a highlight for my kids Great open house for children to learn... as well as us adults. Touch Tank, Scientists and friendly staff.. This is a must stop for anyone with the love of nature or environment. The knowledge possessed by the scientists in the building was phenomenal. This is a government research station and is very professionally run. You need to phone the centre to arrange a visit. A guide escorts you around the centre and are really geared up for children to learn about conservation of our environment. At the end of the tour you are allowed to pick up various sea creatures they have in... A great spot to visit. Very informative, interesting displays. A fantastic opportunity to touch some of the local ocean critters! BIO is a very impressive experience,from the free tours ,and to see what we have in our ocean in the Maritimes,,,,,,It will blow your mind to see the colored lobsters ,,,,the variety of fish,and the shell fish that we have here in our province, i worked on the praries for years and i told my new friends about our sea...
