Learn more about the patented ZDEP® system Commercial systems come in modules that can be duplicated for expansion, allowing a grower to easily increase size as the business grows. Continuous Harvests, 365 days per year The vegetable crops from these systems can be harvested daily to meet market demand.
Our systems are designed for continuous vegetable production, 365 days/year. Each commercial system uses multiple fish tanks for staggered harvesting. With tilapia that means you will harvest a tank full of fish every 4 or 6 weeks. If you use two modules, you will harvest a tank full of fish every 2 or 3 weeks. With 3 modules, it is every 1-2 weeks, and so on. Customer, Jeff Dean, Tennessee, comments: “Thank you so much for those kind words. All of our commercial Clear Flow Aquaponic Systems® use the same patented design to maximize food production.  The difference between them is size. The 4-200, 4-300 and 4-500 systems are great for an individual or family run aquaponic farm. They will also integrate well into an existing farming operation or business, helping to diversify income and provide year ‘round food production.  The smaller size of these systems allows a much higher percentage of total production to be sold retail.  Easy sales outlets for these systems include farmer’s markets, roadside stands, restaurants and grocery stores. The 6-500, 6-800, 6-1200 and 8-1200 are intended for serious commercial production of lettuce and leafy greens (typically the most profitable crop in aquaponics) and fish. These larger systems are essentially food factories with a very high output of fresh greens and fish.  Grocery stores or grocery store chains, hospitals, schools and institutions are common sales outlets for customers using our largest commercial systems.
