I've found that if you give it one good jerk once it hits the water, it's about 2'-3'. If you give it another jerk, it's at about 3'-4'. It varies slightly because the diving motion is slightly erratic.As you retrieve, depending on your speed and rod-tip angle, it may dive down to about 6'+, or it can maintain a constant depth.If you retrieve it with your rod-tip pointed up, you can operate this lure like a floater, maintaining about 1'-2' depth all the way in. Once I have this lure to the depth I want it generally stays at that depth throughout my retrieve.
